Gone Fishing Day
Gone Fishing Day is a national fishing day celebrated each October around the country. It's a great opportunity to take family, mates or just yourself fishing in the great Tassie outdoors.
NRE Tas Recreational Fisheries and the Inland Fisheries Service work with fishing clubs around the state to support events held on the day. See the Australian Recreational Fishing Foundation
page for more information.
